Drawing from Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, we've crafted delicious breads to inspire you with flavorful creations. Rundstykkers (Danish breakfast bread rolls), commonly translated as “round pieces”, are the Danish morning treat mostly eaten during the weekends. There are several kinds, some softer, some crustier, some covered in poppy or sesame seeds. The interesting thing about these small breads is that they are basically just a mini version of a loaf of sourdough bread. They are made from the same dough, but because of the smaller shape and different crust, they have a different flavor profile. A great way for bakers to innovate. When sunflower seeds are used on these breads, they are actually called skagenstykker.
