Puratos, a global leader in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate solutions, is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming Future Food-Tech event in San Francisco on March 16-17, 2023. The event focuses on building healthier and more sustainable food systems.
Bram Pareyt, R&D Director of Puratos, will join a panel discussion on precision fermentation on March 16th. The panel will explore the role of partnerships in accelerating R&D, and technologies that enable scale and overcome limited capacity. Other industry leaders will discuss the future of this technology and its impact on the food industry.
Paul Bakus, President of North America at Puratos, will join a panel discussion on open innovation on March 17th. The panel will discuss how companies approach internal R&D, what partnerships look like, and what areas of innovation Corporate Venture Capital Funds focus on. They will also explore how brands are approaching mergers & acquisitions and what start-ups and innovators should do to position themselves for acquisition.
In addition to its participation in the panel discussions, Puratos's FoodTech venture arm, Sparkalis, will also be present at the Future Food-Tech event. Filip Arnaut, Sparkalis’s General Manager, is passionate about supporting innovative start-ups and entrepreneurs in the food industry. Sparkalis is experienced in scaling lab-proof concepts into successful business realities and will be on the lookout for exciting new ideas to invest in and support.
