We are joining for the first time the Future Food-Tech’s flagship San Francisco summit hosted virtually on March 11-12, 2021. Puratos is presenting the latest trends and consumption habits that will define the new normal and is hosting a roundtable on plant-based innovations in bakery, patisseries & chocolate categories.
The aim of this partnership for Puratos is to find partners in the journey of creating a better and healthier planet for generations to come.
Future Food-Tech summit is acclaimed as the most international gathering of food business leaders, VC investors and food-tech innovators to transform innovation and investment in food. Focused on harnessing technology and fostering global collaboration for better food and nutrition, it brings together global food-brands, investors and entrepreneurs to forge new partnerships and accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions and products to meet the growing global demand for safe, traceable, nutritious and delicious foods.
During day 1, Pierre Tossut, COO at Puratos, will give the food-tech community an insight into how the pandemic impacted consumer behaviour and expectations, how does the consumer’s perception of nutritious foods compare with the reality of products, and what opportunities are there for companies to hack food and ultimately tackle the taste, health and sustainability challenge; all of this as part of the presentation on Trends and Consumption Habits That Will Define the New Normal on March 11.
During day 2, Laurence Herbert, Group Health & Well-Being Manager, as well as Filip Arnaut, R&D Director, will co-host the networking table on Plant-Based Innovations in Bakery, Patisseries & Chocolate Categories. With Health & Well-Being being at the heart of Puratos’ research and development since the 1920s, Laurence and Filip will not only uncover the impact of the plant-based revolution on consumers and the planet, but also help with challenges associated with replacing functional ingredients such as milk, eggs or butter without compromising on the quality and taste aspects of the final products. In line with our Health & Well-Being commitment, Puratos is continuously looking to make a positive difference for the planet and consumers.
At Puratos, we use technologies and superior consumer understanding in order to create innovative, more healthy, sustainable and better quality ingredients for our customers. Innovation has been part of Puratos’ DNA since the company was created 100 years ago.
According to our CMO, Sophie Blum:
