We are proud to announce that Puratos has been awarded the Silver Laureate (ex aequo) at the prestigious Grand Prix Études Syntec Conseil 2025, in the category:
“Identifying New Compatible Market Segments Through an Agentic System.”
Organized by Syntec Conseil, this award is one of the most respected recognitions in the consulting and research industry in France and Europe. Each year, it celebrates the most innovative projects and their impact on business practices and society.
The winning project, Agentic Hunter, was developed by Puratos in collaboration with Ipsos and a university partner. It leverages knowledge graphs and generative AI to identify and unlock new market opportunities for our customers and Puratos, fostering shared growth.
Unlike traditional trend-based approaches, Agentic Hunter introduces a personalized and agentic methodology, a unique way to validate the impact of solutions across diverse market segments such as Gen Z, artisans, and industrial players.
At the heart of this methodology is a digital model that evaluates input, whether a recipe or a marketing concept, against 28 distinct agents and personas. These represent various market segments including artisan bakeries, bakery chains, and more. The model assesses each input across 10 key parameters, such as:
Trained on a rich dataset combining social media insights from our Taste Tomorrow program and Puratos’s proprietary database, Agentic Hunter delivers actionable foresight.
For example, imagine a bakery chain is considering launching a new product: “Golden Chai Muffins”, a spiced muffin inspired by chai tea, aimed at younger consumers looking for comforting yet trendy flavors.
Using Agentic Hunter, the bakery uploads the concept and recipe. The system evaluates it across 28 digital personas representing different consumer mindsets and market segments. It then provides insights like:
“Health-conscious trendsetters show strong interest due to the perceived wellness benefits of chai spices. However, price-sensitive families may find it too niche unless bundled in a seasonal promotion. The concept scores high on consumer appeal and market relevance, but moderate on cost efficiency.”
This helps the bakery refine the product, adjust its positioning, or target the right audience, all before launch.
Winning this award reinforces our position as a digital leader in bakery and patisserie, highlighting our commitment to continuous innovation. With our Taste Tomorrow consumer research program, the largest one in our industry, we have been pioneering new ways to spot and understand trends.
We extend our sincere thanks to our partners and teams whose dedication and expertise made this achievement possible.
