Puratos Group is delighted to announce the grand opening of their new, state-of-the-art margarine production facility in Kragujevac, Serbia. This significant investment of seven million euros not only enhances their production capabilities and product offerings for customers but also contributes to the economic development of Serbia by creating new jobs and promoting sustainable practices.

For customers, the new factory means a greater variety of innovative and high-quality products tailored to industry needs, thanks to improved production processes and a wider range of strategic Mimetic solutions. These advancements ensure that Puratos can better meet the specific demands of the bakery and patisserie industries in the country and the region.
Modern Workplace and Sustainability Commitment
The new factory provides a modern and efficient working environment, equipped with the latest technologies. This upgrade simplifies daily production processes, reflecting Puratos's commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Additionally, the facility reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 227 tons annually and cuts energy consumption by 492 kilowatt-hours per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of nearly 100 households in Serbia. These efforts demonstrate Puratos's dedication to sustainability and responsible resource management.
