Puratos announces the appointment of marketing leader Sophie Blum to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and member of its Group Executive Committee.

“Sophie is a highly experienced, much-admired marketing leader who has successfully fulfilled various global positions in marketing and global strategic business development in several categories and countries, making her a natural addition to our leadership team,” says Daniel Malcorps, CEO of Puratos.

During her career, Sophie has excelled in local, regional and global leadership positions in the FMCG industry for a portfolio of brands and global business units. And more recently in the tech industry.

In one of her latest roles as Senior Vice President, Global Innovation and Brand Building for P&G, Sophie has led P&G’s Global Brand Building reinvention and the digital transformation of P&G’s European business, from superior brand assets, media & communications and new business models, to a cutting edge brand-building organization surrounded by an ecosystem of innovation partners and start-ups.

Named as one of the Women to watch 2018 by Ad Age Europe, Top 100 most influential people in Switzerland in 2017, and Top50 Most Influential Business Leaders in Israel over the last years, also featured in DMEXCO’s 29 Inspirational Female Leaders 2017, Sophie is highly regarded by the business community.

She is also deeply involved in building a better future through educating future generations.

Sophie is actively involved with Girls in Tech (GIT) Switzerland, a global non-profit that seeks to eradicate gender disparities in high-tech industries and start-ups by engaging, educating and empowering women who are passionate about technology. She has been a mentor and advisory board member of start-ups for the last 15 years, some of which are now global leaders.
