Unique products & ideas for the artisan

For the artisan baker, Puratos will present its O-tentic concept. O-tentic is a unique solution to make breads with the taste of the good old days in a very convenient way. Acting like an active sourdough, O-tentic gives a distinctive character to your traditional breads, a mouthwatering crustiness and a rich mouth feel.

Soft breads and buns are ideal for snacks. Puratos will propose its Soft'r ingredients to capitalize on this opportunity. The demonstration includes both the production process as well as the filling and the display on the shelves to turn these ideas into a commercial success.

For the artisan pâtissier, Puratos will demonstrate its know-how in cakes, from easy-to-prepare cakes to the most sophisticated and this in synergy with the seducing PatisFrance product range and Belcolade real Belgian chocolates.

Belcolade will also present its new range of Origin chocolates which hail from the cocoa plantations of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Papua New Guinea, Peru and Venezuela. Created for those looking to add real value to their products, only the finest, most distinctive cocoa varieties that best reflect the flavour profile of each region have been selected, allowing customers to create truly authentic taste associations in their products. Also new from Belcolade is Cryst-O-Fil, a range of high quality dark, milk and white chocolate fillings that combine great taste with a long shelf-life. Free from hydrogenated fat and therefore low in trans-fatty acids, Cryst-O-Fil uses a unique crystallisation process to deliver a refined taste, smooth texture and quick melting properties - and a minimum shelf life of 9 months! 

Solutions for the industry

Puratos will present its industrial solutions in a large part of the booth dedicated to industrial operators. The technologies include:

  • the Acti-Fresh concept to increase shelf-life for cakes;
  • the Sapore range of sourdoughs to enhance natural taste in bakery products;
  • the Frostec technology dedicated to frozen dough manufacturers. Within this range we will focus on products such as Bakevit, Doublebake and S-Kimo Acti-Plus, all breakthrough products in their field of application;
  • the Soft'r technology allows enhancing the texture of soft baked goods to create unique products. Visitors can participate to the "What's your texture" survey, an interesting experience which will define a profile of their taste preferences.               

Great Taste & Wellness on the move

Health is one of the most important concerns of today's consumers and to help our customers penetrate this fast growing market we have developed Great Taste & Wellness - a new range of mixes for bread, reduced-fat cakes, croissants and bavarois, as well as sugar free and no sugar added chocolate that provide nutritional or health benefits without ever compromising on taste. Visitors to our stand will be invited to taste some of these aboard the Puratos Sensobus, a mobile sensory analysis lab designed to evaluate consumer preferences anywhere our customers need.
