Our organization
The Puratos group is well known as a family company. Our corporate culture is based on a passion for the customer's business and mutual respect.
Passion for the customer's business means that we do everything we can to help bakers, patissiers and chocolatiers around the world be successful. So we work alongside them and develop reliable, original and innovative ingredients, technologies and solutions. Our goal is to give our customers absolute peace of mind. And thanks to our global presence and our understanding of different cultures, we also aim to be a source of creativity and new ideas, whilst offering our personnel the best possible opportunities for professional development. We work with our customers as partners every step of the way, so they can continue to offer the best to their clients.
Mutual respect means respect, not only between colleagues, but also between managers and their teams; respect has to be a two-way street, fully reflecting our values.
This is the reason why the Unicorn was chosen as the symbol of the group. This mythical animal is indeed a symbol of ethics and determination.
Today the group has acquired a global dimension and has adapted its decision making accordingly. The main shareholders have opted for progressive reinforcement of the group at shareholder level by associating with other families and opening the Board of Directors to external members, recognized for their experience and values. Moreover, the group's management has been entrusted to professionals who are experienced in their respective disciplines.
The shareholders and members of the board of directors wish the group to continue to grow, to become an increasingly sound partner for our customers, with a strong human dimension and capable of reacting rapidly to market changes.

Matrix organization
The matrix organisation chosen by the Puratos group is as much a reflection of the complexity and international dimension of its operations as its desire to maintain and develop close interdependence that binds together all the functions in the company which are there to serve the customer. Indeed, the customer remains permanently at the core of the group's organisation.
Our group's matrix consists of three dimensions, all of which are interrelated.
The global organisation of markets which brings together the regional management structure and the operational and commercial management of all the subsidiaries around the world.
The three Strategic Business Units : Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate. They determine the strategic development of products in the three major sectors of activity as well as their marketing and research planning.
The central functions of the group which on behalf of the group as a whole procure services and support in their respective areas of expertise: human resources, research, marketing, operations, finance, information technology and legal affairs.
The directors of market, the three business units and central functions are members of the group's executive committee presided over by the Chief Executive Officer, and therefore share joint responsibility for the performance and management of the Puratos group.
